Semaki and Bird

Semaki and Bird is a woman-owned company based in Connecticut (USA). Established in 1986, Semaki and Bird creates museum-quality jewelry and stationery products inspired by Nature.

Originally inspired to create the line while working as a fisheries biologist in Alaska ("Samaki" means "fish" in Swahili), owner Christelle combined her love of art and design with her illustrations of fish and birds. Soon she added other fauna and flora.
