This design features the latin motto "arte et labore" which translates to "by skill and by labor." Nothing could be truer when it comes to the art of glassblowing. Our exclusive design showcases four little "putti" (angels) assistants, tools of the trade, and above it all rests the famous "Ennion" bowl made almost 2,000 years ago which is on view at the Chrysler Museum.

Color Love by Alicia Niles

Alicia Niles was born in Venezuela but calls Hamilton, Canada her home. Alicia pursued her education and training at John Abbott College, Mount Allison University, the Ontario College of Art and Design, and George Brown College. In 2003 Alicia chose to further explore the intersection of beauty and design when she fell in love with glass, and eventually lamp-working and bead-making. She pursued her explorations in glass through classes at Sheridan College.
