Hand-thrown Wonton Dishes: Blue with Glass
Hand-thrown Wonton Dishes: Blue with Glass
In stock
Unique crackle glaze pottery from Dock 6 Pottery in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The pieces are first thrown by hand, glazed, and fired in a kiln. Then they are re-fired in the kiln, with the addition of glass, which pools on the surface. The glass crackles as it cools, giving each piece a one-of-a-kind appearance that resembles geodes from the earth.

Dock 6 Pottery
Founded in 1995 by Kerry Brooks and three other potters in Minneapolis, MN, the original studio could only be entered through loading dock number 6, so they decided to name the pottery Dock 6 Pottery. Kerry now employs 30 to 40 people, and the company has grown to include a gallery, classroom, and 9,000 square foot production studio.
