Pilgrim Imports originated over 35 years ago in a village outside of Chiang Mai, Thailand.
All of the jobs involved in producing Pilgrim's adorable ornaments are honest and clean. The Thai workers never dump refuse into rivers or landfills since they work where they live. No lead is used in the products they create.
Besides improving the quality of life for hundreds of workers, the work Pilgrim Imports provides sets other improvements in motion. Recently the village's local grade school received a paved road, computers, and clean drinking water. As a result, Thailand's Department of Education cited this once destitute community as a model for rural education.
