Janis Conner is a recognized specialist in nineteenth and early twentieth century American sculpture. She and her husband, Joel Rosenkranz, are principals of Conner • Rosenkranz LLC, a New York gallery that is preeminent in the field of American sculpture. The couple wrote the 1989 book Rediscoveries in American Sculpture: Studio Works, 1893-1939. Ms. Conner has contributed numerous articles to journals and exhibition catalogs.

Leah Rosenblatt Lehmbeck will receive her Ph.D. in 2007 from New York University's Institute of Fine Arts, where she received both the Lila Acheson Wallace Graduate and Dissertation Fellowships. She is a former Bradford and Christine Mishler Curatorial Fellow in American Art at the Huntington Art Collections, San Marino, California.

Thayer Tolles is Associate Curator, Department of American Paintings and Sculpture, The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She is editor and co-author of the two-volume catalogue, American Sculpture in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (1999 and 2001). She edited and co-authored Perspectives on American Sculpture Before 1925: The Metropolitan Museum of Art Symposia (2003).

Frank L. Hohmann III is a retired Wall Street executive and a collector of American art and furniture.
