Orders are usually fulfilled seven days a week, and shipped on the next business day. Exceptions occur for holidays and in rare cases when staff is temporarily not available. Items in stock are generally prepared for shipment as soon as an order is received. If your order is time-sensitive, please let us know in the order notes at checkout.
The global COVID-19 pandemic has caused delays in shipping worldwide due to transportation bottlenecks and lowered staffing levels with carriers and delivery services. We appreciate your understanding and patience. Whenever possible, we provide tracking numbers to you at the time of shipment.
If an item in your order is not available for immediate shipping for any reason, we will attempt to contact you regarding the order.
Damages in Shipment
In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged during shipment, please save all packaging materials and contact us as soon as possible. We may ask you to send 2 photographs showing the damaged packaging, and the damaged item(s). We use these photographs to substantiate our claim with the carrier. If possible, replacement items will be sent to you at no additional charge. Please note, due to the unique or hand-made nature of some of our products, replacement with a like product may not always be possible. In these rare cases, we will offer you an exchange or refund.
We understand that shipping can be expensive. Our shipping fees are calculated based on the weight of your package, the distance it has to travel, and the carrier. If the actual shipping cost is less than you were charged, we will refund the difference to your method of payment if it amounts to $1.00 or more. We do offer free Local Pickup at the museum as an alternative to shipping.
You may pickup your order at the Chrysler Museum Shop in Norfolk, Virginia, by choosing the free Local Pickup option instead of Shipping during checkout. Once your order has been prepared for pickup, you will receive notification and pickup instructions. Pickup is available only during the normal operating hours of the Museum. A few items on this website are available only for Local Pickup, and a few items are not available for local pickup because they are sent to you directly from the manufacturer.
