About the Artist
Arthur Poulin
Father Arthur Poulin is a Benedictine monk and painter whose luminous landscapes reflect the sacred beauty of creation. Working in painstaking layers of color and thousands of tiny brushstrokes, his pointillist style evokes both Impressionist tradition and spiritual meditation. From his monastery studio in Berkeley, and inspired by travels from Big Sur to Japan, Father Poulin creates artworks that appear on cards, puzzles, book covers, and more—each one a quiet celebration of nature’s majesty.
