Made in the Abbey of Flavigny (one of the oldest religious buildings in France, dating from 719 CE), since at least 1591, Les Anis de Flavigny are the classic French mints with a single green aniseed in the center. Their collectible tins haven't changed much since they were introduced in the 1950s. Made with few ingredients (green aniseed, beet sugar, and all-natural or organic flavorings) these simple mints are exceedingly good.
