Über den Künstler

Paul Signac

Paul Signac (1863 – 1935) was a French Neo-Impressionist painter. Signac's artistic style was characterized by his use of vibrant colors and meticulous pointillist technique. Inspired by Georges Seurat, he adopted the principles of divisionism, applying small dots or strokes of pure color that would blend optically to create a harmonious whole. Signac's paintings captured the essence of natural landscapes, coastal scenes, and everyday life, infusing them with luminosity and a sense of tranquility.
