Die Progress Pride-Flagge wurde entworfen von Daniel Quasar als Neuauflage der Pride-Flagge, die ursprünglich 1978 vom Künstler Gilbert Baker entworfen wurde. (Eine von Bakers Regenbogenflaggen befindet sich in der Sammlung des Museum of Modern Art.)
