    Sherród Faulks opened his "studio temple" Deep Black in 2020 in nearby Portsmouth, Virginia. Each piece is individually handmade, right down to the glazes which Sherród develops himself through months of testing and refining. He believes that small, thoughtful, intelligent design choices work together to create a delightful experience.

Deep Black's pieces can also be found in Museum Shops and better gift shops.
