Inspired by Tiffany designer Clara Driscoll's remarkable clematis lampshade from the collection of the New York Historical Society, these earrings embody the timeless elegance and artistry that defined Tiffany's creations.

Drawing upon nature's enchanting allure, these earrings pay homage to the delicate charm of the clematis flower. Each meticulously crafted petal and vine reflects the unparalleled craftsmanship that characterized Tiffany's work. As light dances upon their surface, the earrings radiate a captivating play of colors, evoking a sense of grace and enchantment. Wearing these earrings allows you to carry a tangible connection to the artistic brilliance of Louis C. Tiffany and the inspirational designs of Clara Driscoll, celebrating their enduring legacy in a wearable piece of art.

About the Artist

Louis Comfort Tiffany

Louis Comfort Tiffany was an American artist and designer who worked in the decorative arts. Throughout his career he forged a unique style that combined excellent craftsmanship with a love of nature forms and brilliant color. Though he worked with a multitude of mediums, he is best known for his work in stained glass. This beautiful design pairs Tiffany’s most famous medium with his favorite motif: the peacock. Peacock feathers featured countless times in both his personal life and his professional career. Renowned for their beauty, peacocks have both religious and secular appeal, making them the ideal design motif for Tiffany’s ecclesiastical commissions.
