Care Instructions

This beautiful garment is handmade using the nuno felting technique. To create nuno felt, very small amounts of wool are layered on silk, chiffon, or cotton. then warm water, soap and hand-scrubbing begin, causing the wool fibers to migrate through the weave of the cloth and entangle, pulling the cloth along with them as they shrink. The result is a highly textured fabric.

Nuno felted garments are lightweight, drape beautifully on the body, and can be worn year-round in any climate. Our nuno felted wraps and scarves are made from recycled sari silk and silk chiffon.

Care Instructions

Hand wash in cold water with gentle detergent. Lay flat to dry.
