One-of-a-kind glass sculpture created by Hong Kong-based artist Kwun Lan Wong in 2021 while in residence at the Chrysler Museum Glass Studio.
A variety of glassmaking techniques have been employed in the making of this sculpture; primarily it is hot sculpted offhand. It has been sandblasted to give a matte appearance. The glass sculpture comes with a custom stand for display, made of painted steel.
The sculpture is approximately 6½ inches (16.5 cm) high on its base. This item is number five in a series of six.

About Kwun Lan Wong

Originally from Hong Kong, Kwun Lan Wong spent the first half of 2021 in Norfolk, VA working as an Assistant in the Chrysler Museum Glass Studio. Previously, she studied glassblowing at Pilchuck Glass School, Corning Museum of Glass, and UrbanGlass. She is now continuing her education as a glassblower in the graduate program at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
