In the 1950s the "peace sign", as it is known today, was designed by Gerald Holtom as the logo for the British Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND). The symbol superimposes the semaphore signals for the letters "N" and "D", taken to stand for "nuclear disarmament".

About Flags For Good

Michael and Cassie Green started Flags for Good in 2020 out of a lifelong obsession with flags (seriously: see Michael's TED talk about them), quarantine boredom, and societal rage.

Flags For Good supports a relevant world-changing organization for every one of their flags.
