Lily Sol

Lily Sol is a self taught abstract and portrait artist from Berkeley, CA. Her work is a colorful celebration of passion, creativity, and the vibrant spirit of the plants and people that inspire her  from her travels to Hawaii, Costa Rica, Mexico, Bali, and Morocco. Through various mediums that include collage, acrylic painting, watercolor, and pressed blooms, her artistic and spiritual practice explores the beautiful diversity of the natural world and the ways in which feminine energy is expressed within it. Her work centers on creating colorful, abstract goddesses that radiate the power and grace of the female form.

Lily seeks to inspire others to feel joyful, powerful, and abundant with her work, helping to connect viewers to their own bravery and inner wisdom. Her hope is that her work will serve as a source of nourishment, uplifting and reminding people that strength and beauty lies within us all. “We must be a vessel for light to move through us and into the world. When we allow our voice and light to shine brighter, I believe we can create a more just and harmonious world, one that honors the sacred feminine and the transformative power of art.” She continues to work, teach, and create from her bohemian-inspired studio in California.
