Each bright blue Superb Starling is hand carved from a single branch by artisans in Kenya, East Africa. Proceeds from the sale of these ornaments benefit the communities where the artisans live, and provide housing, clothing, food, and medicine.
Fair trade organizations, backed by consumers, support producers, raise awareness and campaign for changes in the rules and practice of conventional international trade.
