Experience the playful pop-art world of New York City artist Ethan Minsker with his take on Marcel Duchamp's Fountain. Duchamp upended the art world over a hundred years ago by entering a porcelain urinal as sculpture—he had signed it "R. Mutt, 1917"—in the Armory Art Show. As a filmmaker and zine publisher, Minsker adds a quirky twist to this iconic readymade by rendering it in lovingly hand-made papier-mâché, making a statement that will leave you thinking (and smiling).
