The iconic artwork, The Scream, was crafted by renowned Norwegian artist Edvard Munch in 1893. This oil painting has gained widespread recognition as a powerful depiction of the human experience. Originally conceived as a poem in Munch's personal diary, The Scream has evolved into a visual representation of the primal cry that resonates throughout all of nature. This masterpiece is the most famous installment in Munch's collection, The Frieze of Life.

About the Artist

Edvard Munch

Edvard Munch (1863–1944) was born in Løten, Norway, and studied design and art in Oslo. In May of 1885 he traveled to Paris on a scholarship, and after the deaths of his sister and father the following year, he began to spend most of his time in France. His painting first achieved fame with an 1892 exhibition in Berlin, which also led directly to his influence upon the German Expressionists. Despite struggles with alcohol and mental health, Munch lived to the age of 80.

With the rapid expansion of the business, Quilling Card employs over 500 quillers in two locations, providing a stable and safe work environment, with healthcare and food benefits for its employees.
