Daniel Flores
Daniel Flores (b. 1977) is a master printmaker based in Oaxaca, Mexico, known for his dedication to traditional techniques and community-driven art. After earning his degree from the Visual Arts program in Puebla, he worked in several esteemed print studios before founding Producción Gráfica Zanate in 2006. Through this independent workshop, Flores has produced fine art editions for both Mexican and international artists, while also coordinating the Creators in the Communities program—an initiative that amplifies the voices of Oaxaca’s diverse regions through collaborative printmaking. His work has been exhibited in Mexico and abroad, and is featured in the Chrysler Museum of Art’s exhibition Oaxaca Central, including notable prints such as Urban Mirages and Anonymous Travelers (both now included in the Chrysler's permanent collection.)
