Tone Ørvik is a sculptor and glass artist with an exhibition background at leading glass galleries in the US. She also works as a writer and as an educator, previously for 5 years as head of sculpture at Kragero School of Art, Norway. She lives in Oslo, Norway. www.toneorvik.net

Dr. Max Stewart is one of the world´s leading experts in pâte de verre. He lectures in Glass Studies at the University of Wolverhampton and until recently held a professorial chair at the Jilin College of the Arts, Changchun, China. He lives in Telford, UK. www.maxstewartglass.com

Located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, Schiffer Books got its start in 1974 publishing historical reports using a mimeograph machine on the owner's kitchen table. A few years later, Schiffer moved to the basement of a barn on the family's farm property. More than 50 years later, Schiffer Publishing is still an independent publisher of 7,000 titles at the Book Farm in Atglen, PA, where visitors are welcome to browse the library.
