This stunning replica of Nefertari's famed tomb scene brings the ancient Egyptian court to life. Isis, the goddess of motherhood and magic, is seated regally on her throne, with Maat, the goddess of truth and justice, humbly kneeling before her. Crafted with metallic paint and carefully hand-painted on genuine papyrus paper in Cairo. An info sheet on the paper and the scene is tucked in the back of the pouch. Papyrus—a material similar to thick paper—was used in the past as a writing surface, and was made from the stem of the papyrus plant.
