Sara Franklin is a Southern California–based artist and designer whose watercolor maps and abstract paintings celebrate joy and adventure. Her 50 States series, inspired by her work as an illustrator for Better Homes & Gardens, captures the spirit of each state through playful shapes and color. When she’s not painting, Sara loves exploring the coast, visiting museums, and collecting books, art supplies, and succulents.
