The peacock moth, scientifically known as Saturnia pavonia, is a stunning moth species found across Europe and parts of Asia. It derives its name from the vibrant and eye-catching patterns on its wings, reminiscent of the majestic display of a peacock's feathers.
This intricately handmade embroidered brooch from India beautifully captures the essence of the peacock moth, a fascinating and enchanting creature. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the brooch showcases the exquisite patterns and vibrant colors that define the peacock moth's wings.
The skilled artisans have used a combination of fine threads and shimmering metallic accents to recreate the peacock moth's wing patterns, bringing them to life with stunning accuracy. The brooch features a delicate balance of burgundy, brilliant orange, lavender and yellow, mirroring the peacock moth's natural coloration.
