Created by Jen Detlefsen in the Chrysler Museum's Perry Glass Studio.
In the glass fusing process, layers of colorful glass are stacked together and heated to 1400°F (760° C) in a kiln until they fuse into a single layer. These earrings have hand-forged copper hardware sandwiched between layers of pink and iridescent glass, and are adorned with tiny glass sprinkles on top. Finished with Argentium® low-tarnish silver ear wires for a durable and hypoallergenic shine.
