WorldFinds Ethical Style

WorldFinds' mission is to empower women through fair trade. Our jewelry and accessories create work for over 700 artisans in vulnerable communities in India. These thoughtful designs and sustainable practices bring change to the lives of the artisans, provide a bright future for their children, and strengthen their communities.

Meet the Makers

There are over 700 incredible artisans that bring our jewelry and accessories designs to life! All of our styles are handmade by women artisans in India and Bali. Some are part of women's cooperatives or family groups, and others are members of the WFTO (World Fair Trade Organization). All are finding a path out of poverty through fair trade.

Impact

Your purchase creates and extends a chain of goodness around the world. Each bracelet, necklace, and earring gives a woman artisan a job, a source of income and a means of preserving traditional crafts and art forms. This, in turn, provides education and food for the woman's families and communities.

Education

Through your support, WorldFinds is able to support women and girls in their pursuit of education. Last year alone, an increase in orders allowed our artisan groups to send three times as many girls to school.

Eco-Friendly

All of our Kantha products are handcrafted from wooden scraps from furniture factories and repurposed Sari and Kantha textiles. This reduces waste while improving lives for our artisans.

Handmade

All of our products are handmade with love, providing a living wage, safe working conditions to our artisans, as well as the preservation of the techniques and culture behind Kantha.

Women-Powered

WorldFinds is not only woman-owned, but woman-powered. We are committed to empowering women and their communities.

Independence

Through Fair Trade, our women artisans are able to develop independance. Artisans have gone on to purchase homes, send their children to school, and even launch their own business!

Path Out of Poverty

Your purchase helps women pave a path out of poverty through fair trade. Through the collectives, our artisans are paid a living wage and are able to contribute to their family.

Fair Trade

In the most basic terms fair trade is an equitable, long-term relationship between trading partners, and a way to ensure low-income artisans are truly being helped out of poverty. There are nine Principles of Fair Trade recently adopted by the Fair Trade Federation, and soon there will be explicit practices on how those principles can be achieved.
