Climatologist Ed Hawkins designed the "Warming Stripes" (also known as "Climate Stripes") as a visualization of our planet's warming over time. The progression from blue (cooler) to red (warmer) stripes portrays the long-term increase of average global temperature from 1850 (hoist side of the flag) to 2018 (fly edge). This graph is a beautiful way to display the terrifying reality of climate change.

A portion of proceeds from the sale of this flag is donated to the Environmental Defense Fund, and other organizations fighting on the front lines of the climate crisis.

About Flags For Good

Michael Green started Flags for Good in 2020 out of a lifelong obsession with flags (seriously: see Michael's TED talk about them), quarantine boredom, and societal rage.

What is the "For Good" part? Well, Flags For Good only makes flags that they believe in, and then donates a portion of each sale to a relevant world-changing organization.
