2021 has been a year like no other. With global supply chains backed up, shortages of transportation equipment and drivers in North America, and deliberate slow-downs in delivery times by the USPS, this holiday season is sure to be a chaotic one for anyone sending gifts. The best solution is to shop early, and ship early to ensure delivery in time for the holidays. Adverse weather can cause extensive, unexpected delays too. Remember last year, when major storms on the east coast caused service delays that backed up delivery times for weeks?
Please check with the individual carriers about expected delivery times, holiday shipping deadlines, and service delays. The USPS posts its Mail-by Dates online. The bottom line: ship no later than December 15 for delivery within the continental United States by December 25th, and earlier for other destinations. Hanukkah begins November 28th, so ship by November 18th. Use an expedited service if shipping after these dates.
As always, the Chrysler Museum Shop appreciates your support of the museum when you shop with us. If you have any questions about holiday shipping, please get in touch.
